Steve Woodard

Steve Woodard is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Managed Services and Head of Technical Operations at Police Digital Service since February 2024. Prior to this role, Woodard held the position of Director of Systems Operations at the University of Hull for a brief period in late 2023 and was actively involved with CTS from May 2022 to November 2023 as Director of Technology Operations, where responsibilities included shaping technology strategy and driving business model evolution for revenue growth. Woodard’s extensive tenure at KCOM, spanning nearly 24 years from September 1998 to February 2022, encompassed various leadership roles, including Head of Cyber & Information Security, where a risk management framework was developed, and other positions focused on cost transformation and service operation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Humberside and a management development program from Cranfield School of Management.
