Doug Leder

Doug Leder is currently the Head of Information Security at Policygenius. Doug has over 15 years of experience in information security and has held various positions at Ziff Davis, including Director of Information Security. In this role, Doug was responsible for establishing and implementing the Information Security program for all Business Units (BUs) falling under the Ziff Davis umbrella. This included IGN/Humble Bundle, Ziff Davis Tech & Commerce (PCMag.com, Offers.com, Mashable.com, and other properties), Everyday Health Pro & Everyday Health Consumer, What to Expect, Ookla (Speedtest.com), and Ziff Davis B2B (eMedia, Salesify, Toolbox.com).

Doug has also served as Co-Chair of the Privacy & Data Security committee, consisting of Business and Technology Senior/Executive Management from each BU. In this role, they have helped evaluate and implement a single pane view SIEM (including IDS, Threat Intelligence and correlation) and Next Gen Antivirus over 8 disparate Business Units (BUs) and teams, to allow for centralized security monitoring and response where necessary. Doug has also established an informal responsible disclosure/bug bounty program which has led to over 100 bugs being reported and addressed, resulting in a reduced risk exposure and increased security posture.

Doug Leder studied management information systems and finance at Binghamton University School of Management, where they earned their BS. Doug also holds certification from (ISC)2 in CISSP and from ISACA in CISA.
