Ry Rivard

Ry Rivard is an accomplished reporter with extensive experience in investigative journalism and environmental reporting. Currently serving as a reporter at POLITICO since June 2021, Rivard previously worked as an investigative reporter at Adirondack Explorer, focusing on water pollution in the Adirondacks in collaboration with the Albany Times Union. Rivard's career includes positions at Voice of San Diego, covering significant environmental topics, Inside Higher Ed, focusing on the financial aspects of higher education, and the Charleston Daily Mail, where Rivard reported on critical state issues. Rivard's work has been recognized with accolades, including a finalist position for the Investigative Reporters and Editors Awards and the Education Writers Association award.
