Rodrigo Marini

Rodrigo Marini currently serves as the Head of Data & AI at Pomelo, a position held since November 2025. Previously, Rodrigo held multiple roles at Ualá from October 2021 to October 2025, including Director of AI & Data Platform and Senior Manager of Data Engineering, where significant milestones, such as the development of an open-company data warehouse with over 400 entities, were achieved. Prior to Ualá, Rodrigo managed the Data Engineering team at Mercado Libre from July 2019 to October 2021, focusing on scaling data solutions and enhancing analytical culture. At Edenor from July 2014 to July 2019, Rodrigo led the Data Intelligence team and was responsible for the establishment of a data-driven culture within the organization. Rodrigo's career began as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Edenor, followed by roles in BI consulting and web development. Education includes a Postgraduate degree in Big Data from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires, a specialization in Big Data from UC San Diego, and a degree in Computers and Systems Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional. Expertise encompasses SQL, Oracle, and various in-house tools.
