Beatriz Castellví Armas

EVP & Chief Security Officer, Corporate Security Group at Popular

Betina Castellví is Chief Security Officer and Executive Vice President leading the Cybersecurity and Fraud efforts of Popular Inc., where she has worked for more than 20 years. She has been General Auditor of the Corporation and held leading roles in the Financial and Operational Risk Management area and in the brokerage business serving as CFO and COO of Popular Securities LLC. Before joining Popular in 1996, Castellví was an Audit and Business Advisory Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Castellví is one of the founding members of the Puerto Rico Ellevate chapter, part of the Executive Council and has served as its treasurer since 2013. She has also held different positions in nonprofit and professional organizations in Puerto Rico and United States, such as Hogar de Niñas de Cupey, Fundación para Río Piedras (FpRP), and was the Firm’s representative at the MSRB Uniform Practice Contact Group, among others.

Castellví holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a concentration in accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico. She is a Certified Public Accountant, holds Series 7 and Series 27 certifications and is admitted to the Bar in Puerto Rico.

Castellví is married and has two children.
