William Lachnicht

William Lachnicht, C.M., ACE is an experienced aviation maintenance professional with a robust career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Chief Maintenance Supervisor for Airport Structural Maintenance Services at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, William oversees all technical, administrative, and financial aspects of maintenance operations at JFK International Airport. Prior to this role, positions included Manager of Airport Maintenance and Manager of Airport Facility Projects at JFK, as well as Maintenance Manager for AFCO AvPorts Management LLC. An extensive background includes roles at United Airlines, where William established leading-edge training and quality assurance programs, alongside earlier experience with Pan American World Airways and the United States Air Force. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the State University of New York at Old Westbury and an Associate’s Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology from Farmingdale State College.
