Alex Adkins

Alex Adkins is an experienced professional in strategic land use planning, currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Land Use Planning at Port Macquarie Hastings Council since June 2023. Prior to this role, Alex held various positions at Snowy Monaro Regional Council from October 2018 to June 2023, including Team Leader Strategic Planning and Senior Strategic Land Use Planner. Additionally, Alex worked as a Strategic Planner at Goulburn Mulwaree Council and as a Development Assessment Officer for the ACT Government, where responsibilities included environmental impact assessments and development application evaluations. Earlier experience includes a role as a Census Officer at the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Alex holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Canberra and secondary education credentials from St Edmunds College Canberra.
