Dimitri Semenovich

Dimitri Semenovich is an experienced professional in the fields of analytics, machine learning, and optimisation. Currently serving as Principal of AI Labs at Potentia Capital since September 2025, Dimitri previously held the position of Senior Director of Pricing and Analytics at Cover Genius from April 2022 to August 2025. Prior roles include Director of Analytics and Principal Data Scientist at IAG between April 2015 and May 2022, and a Data Scientist at Commonwealth Bank in 2014-2015. Dimitri's early career featured work as an Associate Researcher in Machine Learning at NICTA and in political forecasting at the University of Sydney, following a PhD in Computer Science from UNSW where research focused on mathematical optimisation techniques in machine learning and computer vision. Additionally, Dimitri holds degrees in Computer Science and Finance from UNSW.
