Douglas S. Banning Jr.

Chief Executive Officer, MVerge at Artera Services

In 1985 Douglas Banning joined Miller Pipeline as a cost accountant. In 1989 he was promoted to controller. Mentored by the company’s founders, Banning gained knowledge of the inner workings of the organization and oversaw several acquisitions. In 1998 he became the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, and in 2003 he assumed his current role as CEO.

Banning graduated from the University of North Alabama with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems in 1985.

He is actively involved in the industry as well as the community. He serves as a board member for the State Bank of Lizton and the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. He is involved in the Distribution Contractors Association as a trustee for the Labor-Management Cooperation Trust and serves a management trustee for Indiana Laborers Health and Welfare Fund.
