Nicole Rakers is a seasoned professional in the field of coatings and materials science, currently serving as the Product Development Supervisor at PPG Industries since September 2012. In this role, Rakers leads a team focused on developing innovative solutions in the Protective & Marine Coatings division, specifically for Atmospheric Protection and Thermal Management. Previous positions at PPG include R&D Chemist, where expertise in corrosion prevention was leveraged to formulate epoxy and zinc-rich coatings, as well as Chemist I and Research Technologist, concentrating on paint system formulation and testing.
