Mel Murphy

Mel Murphy has extensive experience in project and asset management within the power sector, currently serving as Director of Project Management at Power Plant Management Services, LLC since December 2006. Prior to this, Mel held the position of VP and General Manager at Quixx Power Services, Inc. from 2003 to 2006, focusing on operations and maintenance for facilities managed by Quixx Corporation. Mel's career in asset management began at Quixx Corporation as Director from 2001 to 2003. Earlier roles include Plant Manager at Kingsburg Cogeneration Facility from 1992 to 1998 and a notable tenure in the US Navy from 1976 to 1991 as a Nuclear Trained Machinist Mate. Education includes attendance at Naval Nuclear Power School in 1977-1978.
