Bruce Johnson

Bruce Johnson has extensive experience in various roles within the legal and artistic communities. Since September 2019, Johnson has served as an Adviser on the American Law Institute's Restatement of the Law Third Torts: Defamation and Privacy, while also holding the position of Partner at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP since June 1977. Johnson has contributed to the Seattle Opera as a Director since July 2015 and serves as Board member and president of PACIFIC MUSICWORKS since 2007. Additionally, Johnson is a member of the National Council for the American Theatre with Theatre Communications Group and has been a Trustee and Chair of the Seattle Rep Foundation since July 2004. Johnson's expertise is also recognized through participation as a member of the Pacific Rim Advisory Council and as an Author and Speaker with the Practising Law Institute. Educational credentials include a J.D. from Yale Law School, an M.A. in History from the University of Cambridge, and an undergraduate education at Harvard University.
