Thomas Risse

Thomas Risse is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Premera. In this role, he provides leadership over Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Investment and Treasury.

Risse previously worked as the Chief Financial Officer for SelectHealth, Intermountain Healthcare's branded health plan. His career in the healthcare industry includes CFO experience with integrated delivery systems, medical groups, health plans and hospitals, in both for-profit and not-for-profit companies.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Economics, as well as an MBA from University of Southern California. He is a fellow in the Health Care Financial Management Association and completed an Executive Management program with Harvard University.
