Ruoqing Zhu

Ruoqing Zhu serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since August 2015, having previously held the position of Assistant Professor. Additionally, Ruoqing Zhu is an Advisory Board Member at Prenosis and an Affiliate Member of the National Center for Supercomputing Applications and the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology. In the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, Ruoqing Zhu contributes as a Course Associate Director. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral role at Yale University and graduate research assistantship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Biostatistics was earned. Ruoqing Zhu also has industry experience from an internship at Quintiles. Academic qualifications include a Master of Statistics from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Mathematics from Nanjing University. Early education includes attendance at The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China and Zhongguancun No.1 Primary School.
