Boyd Nash-Stacey is a Principal Economist and head of the Center of Excellence at Prevedere. Boyd works with a wide range of firms in sectors from Consumer Packaged Goods to Commercial Real Estate delivering actionable insights and thought leadership on external factors influencing firm decision making and planning. Prior to joining Prevedere, Boyd spent ten years as a Senior economist with BBVA, focusing on U.S. national macroeconomics, monetary and fiscal policy, demographics, and regional dynamism. He has published research on factors driving the slowing prime-age labor force participation, commodity prices and regional economic performance, financial inclusion, generational economic divides, and the market attractiveness of major U.S. cities. His work has been featured in Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, Consensus Economics, Business Weekly, Business Insider, American Banker, and Texas Monthly. He holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in econometrics and forecasting from the University of Houston.
