Martin Walsh

Martin Walsh is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Okta since October 2021, Martin focuses on building high-performing, inclusive product engineering teams within identity and access management and developer experience. Prior roles include Senior Engineering Manager at Okta, where Martin contributed to the growth of Developer Experience and the development of industry-leading identity SDKs following the acquisition of Auth0. Martin's background includes roles at Auth0, where titles ranged from Engineering Manager to Senior Engineer, and a position as Staff Architect at Frosty Cube, a startup specializing in mobile gaming solutions. Additionally, Martin serves as a Startup Advisor at Primary Venture Partners and as a mentor at Plato, guiding emerging leaders in the technology sector. Martin co-founded Pedro LTD, an indie gaming startup that achieved notable success with its mobile titles, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Games Development from Abertay University.
