VP, Go-to-Market Strategy at Primary Venture Partners

As Primary’s VP of Go-to-Market Strategy, Jason helps portfolio companies to build and scale their customer acquisition, expansion, and retention motions and teams.

Jason started his career as a lawyer but quickly pivoted to the world of startup business operations. Before Primary, he built and led a 30+ person Revenue Strategy & Operations team at Compass during a period of hypergrowth. During his tenure at Compass, the company onboarded 26,000+ new customers, grew to $7.5B+ in annual revenue, and achieved an industry leading 90+% retention rate. Prior to Compass, Jason ran operations teams at RebelMouse and Percolate. In these roles, he has managed annual planning, sales operations, renewal & retention programs, and core business systems, among other areas.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two boys, playing tennis, researching his next dream vacation, and cheering for the NY Giants, Rangers, Yankees, and Knicks.
