Chris Knibb

As senior vice president, chief financial officer, Chris Knibb oversees Prime’s finance functions, including treasury and internal audit, real estate, financial planning and analysis, and the controller functions.

Knibb is an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of experience in corporate accounting and finance, strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, capital management and pricing. With this background, he plays a key role in developing growth strategies and total drug management solutions that optimize drug utilization across the medical and pharmacy benefit, leading to improved health outcomes and lower plan costs for plan sponsors and members.

Knibb began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he earned his CPA. He later held various financial and operational leadership roles in high-growth private-equity backed companies and large public companies including Express Scripts, a Fortune 25 pharmacy benefit manager. Prior to joining Prime, he was chief financial officer for SOC Telemed, a public company that is the largest player in the acute-care telemedicine space. Knibb’s experience across companies of various scale and industry have equipped him to transform back-office functions into world class operations.

Knibb earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida and is a certified public accountant.
