Kathryn Burton is a Bars Supervisor at the University of St Andrews Students' Association where Kathryn supervises and motivates a team of casual staff, maintains high standards of service, ensures appropriate stock levels, and supports the Bars Management team. Kathryn also works as a Team Leader responsible for motivating small groups of casual bar staff. Additionally, Kathryn is currently a Research PhD Student at the University of Dundee, working on developing new polymeric hybrid nanomaterials for optical detection of opioids. Kathryn also volunteers with Project Trust and has experience as a Chemistry Tutor, Student Mentor, and Student Ambassador. Kathryn has a background in Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Forensic Science.
