Giovanni Sabatini

Giovanni Sabatini currently serves as the Independent Chair of the EU T+1 Industry Committee and holds memberships on the IFRS Board of Trustees. They have an extensive background in international finance, having previously been the General Manager of the Italian Banking Association and served in various influential roles including Director General at the Italian Ministry of Finance and CEO of the Italian CSD Montetitoli. With over 40 years of experience, they have chaired several international organizations and currently teach "principles of banking" as an adjunct professor at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Milano. Giovanni graduated magna cum laude from LUISS University in Rome and is a chartered accountant, honored with the title of Grande Ufficiale dell’Ordine a merito della Repubblica Italiana.
