Laurent Bizien

Space Systems Engineer at PROMÉTHÉE NewSpace

Laurent Bizien is a Junior System Engineer at PROMÉTHÉE NewSpace since March 2021, focused on analyzing operational needs and defining functional architectures for space segments. Previous experiences include an internship at IKI Space Research Institute, where Laurent was involved in calibrating and testing a tunable laser spectrometer for the ExoMars mission, and a project at CNES that aimed at developing a mission to reuse upper stages of launchers. Additional internships and projects include research in 3D modeling of the Shackleton crater at МГТУ, work on fiber optic gyroscopes' planetary applications at ISAE-SUPAERO, and serving as a Health and Safety Officer for the Mars Society's Mars Analog Research Station Program. Laurent holds a Master's degree in Aeronautics and Aerospace Engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO and has pursued studies in particle physics, cosmology, and astrophysics at Lomonosov Moscow State University.
