Jacob Bay Hansen

Jacob Bay Hansen is a software lead at Proper. Jacob has previously worked as an architect at Topdanmark, helping to implement the Web Platform on Amazon Web Services. Jacob has also served as lead architect at Swipp - hele Danmarks mobilbetaling, with responsibility for finalizing the API specification for bank backend transfer of funds, overseeing the overall technical quality before launch, and acting as product owner for most software deliveries from vendors. After the initial launch, they were responsible for designing and architecture of the second generation payment platform, specifying the follow-up API specification, and kickstarting new development projects (like wireless payments). Hansen has also worked as an external consultant for Asseco Denmark and as a senior IT consultant for PS Consulting ApS. In 2016, they co-founded risby.io.
