Mark Kopanda

Mark Kopanda is a seasoned professional in legal project management and military operations, currently serving as the Director of Legal Project Management at Proskauer Rose LLP since July 2016. Mark has advanced through various roles within the firm, including Associate Director and Legal Project Manager. Prior to this, Mark held leadership positions in the military, notably as Company Commander for the 2-82nd Assault Helicopter Battalion, where responsibilities included overseeing logistical and operational support for a 450-person aviation battalion. Mark’s experience also includes serving as a Rotary Wing Current Operations and Plans Officer for XVIII Airborne Corps in Kabul, executing strategic air operations. Mark's education includes an MBA from William & Mary and a BS in Business Administration from Virginia Tech, complemented by military training at the Aviation Captains Career Course.
