Yuying Jin

Yuying Jin has extensive work experience in the field of biometrics and statistics. They are currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Biometrics at Prothena Corporation plc. Prior to this, Yuying held leadership positions at Aptose Biosciences, Inc., including Vice President, Executive Director, and Senior Director of Biometrics. They also worked as a Director of Biostatistics at Intercept Pharmaceuticals. Earlier in their career, Yuying worked at the FDA as a Team Leader and Lead Mathematical Statistician. They began their career as a Research Assistant at the Fred Hutchinson Research Center.

Yuying Jin completed a Bachelor's degree in Statistics & Operation Research from Fudan University, attending from 1998 to 2002. Yuying then pursued a Master's degree in Statistics at Oregon State University from 2002 to 2005. Afterward, they attended the University of Washington from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biostatistics.
