David Calvo

David Calvo has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. David is currently working at Proton.ai as a Backend Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Proton.ai as a Data Engineer.

David also served as a Course Assistant at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, where they assisted students in various activities such as running a wargame at NATO's Disruptive Tech Experiment and presenting to a class at Imperial College London. David also worked on combating the spread of false information through mass media.

Additionally, David was a Project Lead at NATO ACT Innovation Hub, where they led an international team in developing a prototype for a "Digital Triage Assistant" for NATO, focusing on improving battlefield medical care using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

David also has experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Pneuma Solutions, where they worked on software development tasks. Furthermore, David served as an OCIO Intern at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as part of the Secretary's Honors Program. In this role, they led a team in creating a security control tracking platform and worked with AWS consultants on determining future standard operating procedures.

Earlier in their career, David worked as a Web Developer at ChocolateMemories, LLC, where they developed UI/UX strategies, edited HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and implemented SEO and SEM techniques to enhance website traffic and page ranking.

David Calvo earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, from 2018 to 2022. David then pursued a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) degree in Computer Science, also at The Johns Hopkins University, from 2021 to 2022.
