Amro Ahmed

Amro AHMED is a Mobile Voice Core Engineer at Proximus since November 2016, focusing on the modernization and validation of the IMS core for VoLTE and related technologies. Prior to this role, Amro served as a Network IT Analyst Engineer, designing IT solutions for the telecom network infrastructure, particularly for Fibre To The Home and Fibre To The Business systems. Amro's earlier experience includes a Fixed Network Test Engineering Trainee position at Nokia Networks, where a thesis internship involved developing automation tools for testing DSL technologies. Amro holds a Master’s Degree in Optical Networks and Photonic Systems from Université Paris-Saclay and a Master's Degree in Electric and Optical Fiber Engineering from Télécom SudParis, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Computer Engineering from Cairo University. Additional traineeships spanned various companies, including Telecom Egypt, IBM, and the Egyptian Company for Electricity, focusing on optical systems, automated control, and programming.
