Carolyn Bennett

Carolyn Bennett currently serves as a Medical Monitor at PSI CRO AG since May 2025. Prior to this role, Carolyn held the position of Director of US Medical Affairs in Hematology at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. from September 2022 to September 2024, where responsibilities included developing and executing U.S. medical strategy. Carolyn's extensive experience in pediatric hematology and oncology spans over 15 years, with a significant tenure at Emory University School of Medicine and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta from March 2007 to September 2022 as a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. In this role, Carolyn specialized in immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and bleeding disorders, establishing and leading a program to enhance patient care. Earlier experience includes serving as a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist and Clinical Researcher at Boston Children's Hospital from July 2001 to February 2007, where Carolyn focused on improving treatment outcomes for pediatric bleeding disorders. Educational qualifications include an MD from NYU Grossman School of Medicine and a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Emory University.
