Dan Glenn

Dan Glenn has extensive experience in engineering and mentorship, currently serving as a Senior Mentor and Robotics Mentor for FIRST, overseeing teams FTC Team 10092 Green Griffins and FTC Team 14195 Cerulean Centaurs since August 2008. In addition, Dan is the Chairman of the San Diego Regional Planning Committee and a Lead Robot Inspector for FIRST Robotics, a role held since 2017 for championships and since 2022 for the Los Angeles division. Since 2015, Dan has held the position of Director of Sponsor Engagement at PTC/USER, Inc. and previously worked at Solar Turbines Incorporated as a Product Lifecycle Management Business Process Specialist from 1997 to 2023. Dan's earlier career includes a decade at Allied Signal Aerospace as a designer and manufacturing engineer. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Programming from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, attained in 1986, and graduated from St Bernard High School in 1979.
