Mike Kubik

Mike Kubik has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mike started their career at Alask Sheet Metal in 2000 as a Shop Foreman, where they oversaw scheduling, managed inventory, and ensured shop equipment maintenance. Mike then transitioned to the role of Project Administrator/Estimator, assisting Project Managers with documentation tracking and budget development.

In 2006, Mike became a Project Manager at Alask Sheet Metal, overseeing large and small projects, including design build and planned specifications. Mike delivered projects on time, under budget, and with a focus on safety. Additionally, they served as a Shop Operations Manager, supervising shop workflow, developing quality control processes, and managing customer satisfaction.

From 2010 to 2014, Mike took on the role of Preconstruction Manager at Alask Sheet Metal. Mike managed the estimating department, provided oversight on budget development, and ensured the quality and completeness of submittals and O&M processes.

In 2014, Mike transitioned to Alaska Sheet Metal as the General Manager/Operations Manager. In this role, they developed the annual budget, set profit goals, and tracked performance through monthly reviews and quarterly reporting. Mike was responsible for overall day-to-day operations, customer satisfaction, and strategic planning in a challenging market. Mike also maintained up-to-date safety policies in compliance with OSHA regulations.

In 2017, Mike joined Comfort Systems USA Southwest as a Project Manager, a position they held until 2022. Lastly, Mike joined Pueblo in 2022 as a Project Manager. Overall, Mike Kubik has demonstrated a strong background in project management and operations across various industries.

Mike Kubik completed their high school education at Sitka High School from 1979 to 1983. Mike also attended various educational programs in the field of business management and construction. In 2002, they completed the US Army Core of Engineer's construction quality management for contractors course. In 2003, they attended the SMACNA Projects managers institute. In 2004, they participated in the SMACNA Business Management University program, followed by the SMACNA Business Management Graduate Program in 2005.
