Daniel Garcia-Galili

Trustee at The Putney School

Daniel Garcia-Galili was born in New York City. Daniel attended Marlboro College, where they studied astrophysics and worked as an outdoor program assistant. In 2006, they interned at the American Museum of Natural Theirtory, where they researched energetic gas outflows in newly forming stars in the Rho Ophiuchus cloud. From 2007 to 2008, they served as the assistant director of student life at Bennington College. In 2008, they began working as an IT project assistant at Marlboro College. Daniel has been a trustee at PUTNEY SCHOOL INC since 2008.

Daniel Garcia-Galili began their educational career by obtaining a BS in Physics with a focus on Astronomy from Marlboro College. Daniel then continued their education by completing a Master's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Marlboro College Graduate & Professional Studies. Finally, they obtained certification from PSIA - AASI Professional Ski Instructors of America - American Association of Snowboard Instructors in AASI Level II Snowboard Instructor.
