Abdulla al-Kuwari

Abdulla Al-Kuwari, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Qatar Investment Authority Advisory (Asia Pacific) Pte. Limited since May 2021 and has been a Director at Qatar Investment Authority since October 2010, focusing on the Africa and Asia Pacific region. Al-Kuwari previously held roles as a Manager in the Financial Institutions Department and as a secondee at UBS Investment Bank and Credit Suisse. Additionally, Al-Kuwari is a Young Leader at the Milken Institute and served as a Board Member and Stakeholders Engagement Chair for CFA Society Doha from January 2019 to December 2021. A Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum in the Doha Hub from October 2011 to August 2020, Al-Kuwari began the career journey as an intern at Qatar Financial Centre Authority. Educational credentials include a BSc in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University and ongoing studies as a Global Executive MBA candidate at INSEAD.
