Miri Kaufman will join QEDIT’s International Sales team. After an eventful couple of years, in which QEDIT closed a series A round with strategic partners in the U.S. and China, and were featured on Crunchbase’s Top 50 Hottest Global Tech Companies of 2019 and named a Business Insider Top 35 Israeli Startup of 2020, QEDIT is in expansion mode. Working in Tel Aviv, Israel, Miri’s primary responsibilities will be generating new leads, evangelizing QEDIT solutions to client companies and prospects, pitching innovative data solutions to executive-level industry players, and mentor a team of business developers.
Prior to signing on with QEDIT, Miri had accrued more than 15 years of experience in the high tech industry in both APAC and EMEA, including 6+ years of experience in sales. Most recently, she served more than two years as Sales Director, EMEA for multinational software and services corporation Amdocs. After cultivating rich expertise in Amdocs products, Miri developed sales action plans, including short- and long-terms objectives to meet sales quotas. She also managed sales partnerships with new and existing customers, planned outbound activities to drive new business, and managed RFI and RFP reply processes.
Miri’s professional achievements were foreshadowed by her exemplary undergraduate and graduate performances. She earned both a BA in Economics and East Asia Studies and an MBA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, with magna cum laude distinctions in both degrees. Needless to say, Miri is an avid learner, and is always hungry to learn new things. This appetite for knowledge has led her to be a fluent speaker of Chinese, Russian, English, and Hebrew, in addition to her conversational capabilities in Spanish. She received a Chinese Language Program scholarship for excellence in academic achievements from Peking University in China, recognizing her accomplishments at the highest Chinese language level.
In addition to her vast experience in the technological world, Miri has a passion for environmental justice. Out of “a burning desire to create something meaningful,” Miri founded Sellma, a way for consumers to shop online for secondhand clothes, extending the lifespan of fabric all around the globe.
Miri also speaks 5 languages (Hebrew, Russian, English, Chinese, Spanish), she likes xtreme sports such as snowboarding, diving, horse riding and practices yoga and meditation. Wow.
