Simona Grandits

Simona Grandits has extensive experience in commercial operations and management within the life sciences industry. Since April 2016, Simona has held multiple leadership positions at QIAGEN, currently serving as Vice President for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior roles at QIAGEN include Senior Director and Director overseeing global emerging markets and commercial operations in Eastern Central Europe and beyond. Prior to QIAGEN, Simona worked at bioMerieux, contributing as a Product Manager and Area Business Manager for Eastern and Central Europe. Simona's career began at Mikro+Polo d.o.o. as a Sales Representative and Application Specialist. Simona holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Ljubljana and a Master’s degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Vienna.
