Venkatesh Moktali

Venkatesh Moktali, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Product Management for Digital Insights Base at QIAGEN, where leadership is provided for data products including the Biomedical Knowledge Base and Omicsoft Lands API since January 2023. Prior to this role, Venkatesh held positions as Senior Staff Product Manager and Senior Product Manager at Twist Bioscience, focusing on digital strategy and IVD products. Experience also includes serving as a Senior Product Manager at Mission Bio, where Venkatesh conceptualized and launched new products and built product strategies. Additionally, Venkatesh was the first product manager at Falcon Computing Solutions, gaining early beta customers and establishing key partnerships. With roots in bioinformatics, previous roles also include positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific and as a Bioinformatics Scientist in academic settings. Venkatesh holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from Penn State University and a B.Tech from Vellore Institute of Technology.
