Eric Cook

Eric Cook has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Eric co-founded qTrade.io in 2018 and is primarily responsible for business development, sales, customer outreach, and front-end development. Eric also contributes to architecting and designing the API backend, cryptocurrency integration layers, and Kubernetes cloud hosting infrastructure.

Prior to that, Eric co-founded SimpleCrypto Group in 2014, where they worked as a full-stack engineer. Eric was involved in the development of a custom cryptocurrency mining pool and collaborated closely with their co-founder on various aspects of design and implementation. Eric'sresponsibilities included asynchronous server programming, front-end statistics dashboard development, database design and management, and designing high reliability systems for payout and automated currency conversion.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Eric worked at The University of Kansas from 2009 to 2014. Eric served as an online course developer, providing technical guidance for developing an online course system. Eric was responsible for platform and software selection, integration with existing systems, course design, multimedia management, and course completion.

Eric also gained experience as a student interviewer at the Beach Center on Disability during their tenure at the university. Eric'sresponsibilities included conducting interviews with families, data compiling and entry, statistical analysis, website modifications, technical assistance, and recommending technology-related purchases.

Earlier in their career, Eric co-founded Simpload in 2004, where they designed, programmed, and managed a file hosting service. Eric developed expertise in PHP programming, Linux server management, and MySQL databases. Eric played a vital role in all aspects of service design and scaled the site to handle millions of file requests per day.

Eric Cook attended The University of Kansas from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they studied Business Information Systems and earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
