Kevin Caffey

Kevin Caffey is the Vice President of Quality & Reliability at Qualcomm. Kevin has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, specializing in quality, reliability and technology.

Caffey began their career in 1991 as a Consultant Engineer at NCR Corporation, where they were responsible for strategic planning and market analysis. Kevin then joined Symbios Logic in 1995 as Manager of Advanced Reliability Development. In 1998, they became World Wide Director of Reliability at LSI Logic.

Caffey joined Semtech in 2004 as Vice President of Quality, Reliability & Technology. Kevin spent five years at Semtech before moving to NVIDIA in 2009, where they served as Vice President, Quality & Reliability for three years. Kevin joined Qualcomm in 2012 and has been there ever since.

Kevin Caffey has earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Penn State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Pace University.

They are on a team with Alexander H. Rogers - President, Qualcomm Technology Licensing (QTL) & Global Affairs, Stewart Roberts - VP, Global Security, and Roawen Chen - SVP & COO, Qualcomm CDMA Technologies. Their manager is Cristiano R. Amon, CEO.
