Harsha Venkatesh is a Consumer Insights Analyst at Quartz. Harsha was previously an intern at Avenues: The World School, where they designed and developed a student admission and success model using Python Decision Tree Classifiers and clustering ML algorithm. Harsha also evaluated admission and student success trends to enhance decision making processes for the selection and evaluation team. Additionally, they automated data exporting between Avenues’ survey software and their database using Qualtrics and Google Sheets API.

Before that, they were an undergraduate research assistant at the Illinois Geometry Lab, where they simulated solutions to an NLS equation that has nonzero boundary conditions (NZBC) when x goes to infinity. Harsha used Mathematica and methods and techniques from related academic papers to solve the NLS and isolated the necessary equations for our research case. Harsha produced a final report that details the results.

Venkatesh's internship experience also includes a Business / Data Analyst Internship at Applied Techologies at LAS, where they worked with a team of engineers to develop a predictive maintenance model for a client in the manufacturing industry.

Harsha Venkatesh studied mathematics as an undergraduate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
