Joydeep Sen Sarma

Joydeep Sen Sarma is the Co-Founder and Head of Qubole India at Qubole. Joydeep has also worked with companies such as Bidgely, NextBillion.ai, and Qubole. At Qubole, Joydeep was responsible for building one of the earliest Big-Data as a Service offerings in the public Cloud. Joydeep was also the first vendor to introduce Auto-Scaling Hadoop/Spark/Presto clusters, seamless integration of Spot instances, Columnar caches and an end to end Data Engineering, Data Analysis, and Machine Learning Platform on all major public clouds (AWS/GCE/Azure/OCI).

Joydeep has also worked as the Data Infrastructure Lead at Facebook and as an Architect at Yahoo Inc. Joydeep is a highly experienced and skilled individual who has contributed immensely to the field of data infrastructure.

Joydeep Sen Sarma has a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a BTech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Joydeep also went to DPS.
