Heidi Sandomir is a Law Graduate at Queens Defenders, having started in September 2023. Previously, Sandomir served as Editor in Chief of the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice for Volume 29 and as a Staff Editor for Volume 28. Sandomir completed a Doctor of Law (JD) at Cardozo School of Law, where involvement included roles as a Public Service Scholar, Trial Team Competitor, and Vice President of the Public Interest Law Students Association. Significant achievements encompass leading the first-place litigation team in the Historical Jewish Moot Court Competition, co-founding Cardozo on Israel and Palestine, and organizing panels on international human rights law. Additional experience includes internships and clinical positions, such as legal fellowships at various organizations and a judicial internship at the New York State Supreme Court. Prior education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University at Albany, SUNY.
