Ben Pham

Ben Pham is a full-stack developer at Quimbee. Ben previously worked as a Rails developer at FormulaFolios from September 2018 to December 2020, where they were responsible for the marketing site that helped marketers keep track of advisors' campaign data. Ben also refactored tests to better match modern standards, researched new packages and practices to improve existing applications, integrated external REST APIs to help traders monitor market data, and optimized and researched best web applications practice to improve user experience and complete daily overnight jobs in time for internal staff to complete their workflow. Prior to that, they worked as a software engineer at Home Campus from October 2016 to September 2018, where they developed new system on Laravel framework, designed database diagrams to visualize how data interact with business logics, migrated web apps away from FTP to GitLab continuous integration, wrote scripts to generate required data for database maintenance on MySQL, maintained PHP codebase and implemented new features, created native mobile apps for Android and iOS in Java and Swift, utilized AJAX to improve user experiences with utilizing data forms, wrote technical documents to guide any future developers maintaining system, setup staging server, coordinated with outsource developers on patches, and refractored PHP codebase.

Ben Pham's educational career consists of him completing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from UC Irvine.
