Rocío Benítez Gómez

Rockie C. is an accomplished Program Manager at Lonza since March 2023, overseeing multidisciplinary project teams in clinical manufacturing of biologics and fostering global collaborations. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Scientist and Program Lead at CareDx, Inc., where Rockie led product development and achieved first-author publication in biomarker discovery. At Senti Biosciences, Rockie acted as Technical Lead for gene therapy projects, while prior roles included a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles, and an internship at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures. Rockie earned a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
