Stephanie Usry

Stephanie Usry is a motivational speaker, executive coach, and HR leader. At 19, Stephanie was in a car accident that should have taken her life. Though doctors warned she would never live independently, after just three months in the hospital she surpassed all expectations by going back to college, graduating on time, and going on to live a full life. Her story emphasizes the importance of conscious choice to overcome obstacles and create a meaningful life.

Since then, Stephanie has held roles in tech companies in the Bay Area. From operations and product management to leading human resources while scaling from 100 to 1,000 employees in one year, she deeply understands the challenges of leading teams and organizations through change.

Stephanie’s consultancy, Not by accident, helps individuals, leaders and teams learn to live, work, and lead on purpose. She was the first Candor Coach with Kim Scott in 2016 and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). Her clients include Google, Netflix, Stitchfix, Allstate, Morgan Stanley, AstraZeneca and more.
