Julie Alexander

Julie Alexander is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as the Director of Fiduciary Clients at Railpen since June 2021, overseeing the delivery of investment, funding, and covenant services for clients, managing approximately £34 billion in assets for 350,000 members of railway pension schemes. Prior to this role, Julie held positions as Head of Client Investment Solutions at Railpen, and as a Senior Investment Consultant at both Kempen Capital Management and Willis Towers Watson, where extensive experience was gained in advising defined contribution and defined benefit schemes. Julie's earlier career includes roles as an Investment Officer at Coal Pension Trustees Services, supporting substantial pension schemes, and as a Transaction Manager at Barclays Capital, where expertise in complex derivatives was developed. Julie holds a Master of Arts in Economics from The University of Edinburgh.
