D. Nita Dooley

D. Nita Dooley is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in media relations and corporate affairs. Currently serving as Director of Corporate Affairs at Rainforest Alliance since October 2019, Dooley also leads global media relations and corporate reputation efforts. Prior to this role, Dooley held the position of Senior Manager Global Media Relations at Rainforest Alliance from September 2013 to October 2018. Previous experiences include serving as a Public Relations Consultant for Room to Read, where specialized consultancy contributed to initiatives focused on literacy and gender equality, and managing global media relations at Callison, an international architecture and design firm. Earlier roles also include Director of Public Relations at Carnival Cruise Line and various positions in publicity at Penguin Books and HarperCollins Publishers. Dooley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Central Oklahoma.
