Temir Porras

Temir has been a professor of International Politics and Geopolitics at the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) in Sciences Po Paris since 2015.

A former career diplomat, Temir is a specialist in foreign policy and sovereign credit, having negotiated and structured trade deals and financial cooperation agreements between Latin American, European and Asian governments for over a decade.

He is the founder of Ventuari Partners, a financial advisory boutique specialized in emerging sovereigns and quasi sovereigns.Temir has been an investor in and an advisor to tech companies operating across Latin America and the Caribbean.He holds an MBA (LSE/NYU/HEC Paris), an MPA (École Nationale d’Administration) and MAs in History and Political Science (Université Panthéon-Sorbonne).
