Stefan Hanekom

Stefan Hanekom is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in senior leadership roles within the hospitality and real estate sectors. Most recently, Stefan served as Chief Financial Officer and Group Director of Finance at RAK Hospitality Holding LLC from November 2019 to July 2021. Prior to this, Stefan held the position of Director of Finance for Real Estate & Asset Management at Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts from October 2017 to November 2019. Earlier career experience includes roles such as Senior Manager of Company Operations and Asset Manager at IFA Hotel Investments, and Manager of Project Accounting & Operations Finance at TDIC. Stefan started a career in finance at PwC as a Manager, where tenure lasted nearly eight years. Academically, Stefan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pretoria and is a Chartered Accountant recognized by SAICA.
