Tim Wells

Tim Wells is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Group Financial Controller at REA Group since November 2020, overseeing financial reporting, treasury, tax, accounts receivable/payable, and payment solutions. Previously, Tim held the position of Executive Manager in Commercial Finance at REA Group, working as a finance partner for various sectors including residential, developer, commercial, and media businesses. Tim also spent over 11 years at Australia Post, where responsibilities included managing corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and providing advisory support to the Group CFO. Early career roles included positions as a Senior Finance Analyst focused on financial planning and analysis, group reporting, and commercial partnering. Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Monash University and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
