Andrew Trenholm

Dr. Trenholm completed his medical education at Dalhousie University, finishing his orthopaedic residency in 2001. He went on to complete a sub-specialty in orthopaedic trauma at the Carolinas Medical Centre in Charlotte, North Carolina. Following this, he completed a second sub-specialty in orthopaedic upper extremity surgery in Edinburgh, Scotland. Dr. Trenholm began orthopaedic practice in Saint John, NB where he served as medical director of Trauma Services before being recruited in 2009 to the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery in Halifax, NS.

Currently, along with the treatment of patients, Dr. Trenholm travels as an invited lecturer throughout North America and Europe; speaking on topics involving orthopedic trauma and upper extremity orthopedics.
