Donald Herzog

Donald Herzog has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Donald is currently working as a Sr. UX/UI Designer at Re:Build Manufacturing since 2022. Prior to this, they served as a UX Design Lead at Twisthink from 2021 to 2022, where they led and managed a team of UX designers to create user experiences for IoT products and services. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Sr. UX Designer at Tekna, Inc., working closely with designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers to deliver user interface strategies and solutions. Donald also has experience as a Sr. UX Designer at Newell Brands from 2015 to 2017, where they contributed to the design of user-centered experiences for various applications and devices. Before that, they served as a Sr. UI Designer at Johnson Outdoors Marine Electronics from 2011 to 2015, leading interface development projects and providing technical illustrations. In addition, they have worked as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Cincinnati and The Art Institute of Ohio, teaching design communication and interactive media courses. Donald also gained experience as a Product Designer at Touchstone Merchandise Group, collaborating on the development of branded products. Early in their career, they completed industrial design internships at Formation Design Group, Orange Chair LLC, Black & Decker, Catalyst PDG Inc., and Fisher-Price Inc. Donald began their career as a Multimedia Specialist II at Capital One, where they were responsible for creating computer/web-based training materials.

Donald Herzog has a Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) degree in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati. Donald also holds a Master of Arts degree in Interactive Media Communications from Webster University. In addition, they have a Bachelor of Science degree (with Distinction) in Technical Graphics Technology from Purdue University. Donald has furthered their education by obtaining a Certificate in Mobile User Experience Design from The Interaction Design Foundation.
