Ken Lynch

Ken Lynch has a diverse work experience starting in 1999 as a Sales Engineer and Software Developer at Consilient Software. Ken was the second employee and was consistently sought after by executives for advice on product, engineering, and marketing. At Consilient, they were recognized as the "Most Solid Sales Engineer" for their presentation and programming skills. Ken then worked as a Software Consultant at Avolare Software, where they developed functional specifications, managed outsourced development, and wrote winning proposals, closing 75% of software project opportunities.

Ken then joined Outlook Technologies as a Project Manager and Software Developer. During their time there, they adopted agile concepts, accurately forecasted budgets and delivery dates, and ensured smooth communication across organizational boundaries. These skills have proven valuable in managing larger teams and projects using lean startup methodologies in their current role as CEO at Reciprocity, Inc.

In 2005, Ken took a sabbatical and pursued their passion for adventure sports, specifically cross-country paragliding. Ken equated the risks of starting a company to flying a paraglider across the Himalayas, where vision and financial stability are crucial.

After their sabbatical, Ken founded the Bay Area Community Exchange Timebank, a non-profit organization, where they served as a founder, director, and researcher. Ken then joined various companies as an investor and advisor, benefiting from outstanding mentors throughout their startup journey. Ken took pride in mentoring founders and CEOs to inspire fresh problem-solving in their own work. Their investments and advisory roles include FlyBrix.

In 2009, Ken founded Reciprocity, Inc and has since served in multiple roles, including CEO, founder, and board chairman. Ken aligns the company's strategic vision with execution and is passionate about how their technology positively impacts customers and the broader community. In addition to running the company, they also started the Reciprocity Volunteer Foundation.

Ken Lynch earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Ken attended from 1992 to 1998.
